Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of European affairs, Bujar Osmani, had a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in the country, Wojciecha Jezi Tycinskiego.
Deputy Prime Minister Osmani expressed congratulations to Ambassador Tycinskiego for the appointment of this function, emphasizing that for our country, the support and assistance from the Republic of Poland is especially important for implementation of our set strategic goals, NATO and European Union membership, and expressed hope that this approach for cooperation will continue during his term.
"The obligations arising from the June
summits for us are obligations and there is not only a full commitment from the
Government, but also from the overall significant social and political
factor," Osmani stressed, pointing to the Polish experience in the
negotiations as an important input for the preparation of the negotiating
structure for promotion of negotiation efficiency.
"We consider Poland's bilateral support and the European integration process itself, to be particularly important, not only as a political position within the European Union, but also as an essential contribution to the creation of support for the enlargement process and between the countries of Vishegrad Group "- said Osmani. Furthermore, he informed Ambassador Tycinskiego about the latest political developments, relations with Greece, the process of implementation of the Prespa Agreement, as well as the course of the implementation of the reforms of Plan 18.
During the conversation, the two interlocutors
expressed mutual conviction for further strengthening of friendly relations
between the two countries, by promoting cooperation in all spheres of mutual
interest.
