Today, at the premises of the Secretariat for European Affairs, a meeting was held between the Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Osmani and the Hungarian Ambassador Laszlo Istvan Dux.
At the meeting they discussed the urgent reform priorities, contained in the Government"s Plan 3-6-9, which is currently in implementation process. Deputy Prime Minister Osmani, in the context of the support of the EU integration process, stressed that Hungary is one of the most active supporters of Macedonia in this process. "This Government will be proactive and committed to the European integration processes, but, according to the successful process of implementation of the undertaken obligations, the Government expects concrete steps by the Union in the direction of accelerating of these processes. Therefore, we need more friends among EU member states, ready to suppor us in our efforts. "Osmani said, adding that the valuation of the country"s efforts would be a significant impulse and incentive for even greater commitment to the European integration.
Deputy Prime Minister Osmani stressed that despite the continuous improvement of the political relations between the two countries, in addition to the direct assistance of Hungary in preventing and controlling the migrant crisis, the close cooperation between the administrations established within the framework of the contractual cooperation is significant, from the aspect of utilisation of the Hungarian expertise in the European integration process. In that sense, Macedonia sees Hungary as a friendly country and supporter of the European integration processes of the country.
