"Today we mark the unification of the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Government of the Kingdom of Norway to one goal: supporting the reforms leading to membership in the European Union and NATO," Deputy Prime Minister Ademi said at today's closing ceremony of the project "Sustainable EU training system".
In his address to the participants, Deputy Prime Minister emphasised the current 12 years of bilateral cooperation between Macedonia and Norway, which includes support for better functioning of the institutions, efficient energy market, integrated society through integrated education and many other areas and announced that the cooperation will continue through new projects.
"One of them would be creation of a platform for monitoring, collaboration and support bringing together key institutions covered by Urgent reform priorities under the SEA," Ademi stressed.
The project "Sustainable EU training system" provided specialised trainings for more than 300 civil servants from over 30 institutions that are members of the working group for implementation of the National Programme for Adoption of the Acquis, which were organised in Skopje and Brussels, and today they were awarded certificates to the 180 most successful candidates.
