The Secretariat for European Affairs (SEA) and the College of Europe - Natolin from Poland signed a Memorandum of Understanding which opens a possibility of further improvement of the knowledge and expertise of civil administration working in the field of European integration processes.
On this occasion today were presented the programmes and opportunities offered by this prestigious European educational institution in front of the interested representatives of several institutions and organisations in the SEA. The Deputy Prime Minister Arbër Ademi had a meeting with the representatives of the college- Richard Washington and Matea Fillipin right before the presentation.
"The College of Europe - Natolin is a reputable brand with certain results and high reputation which is well known to all those working on the topics related to the EU and the process of European integration. It is a high education institution that laid the foundation of the academic discipline which today is called European studies. Therefore, for us the possibility to cooperate and use the capacities and knowledge of this college is an opportunity and privilege of which I am sure we know how to use," said Ademi in his opening speech at the presentation.
The delegation from the College of Europe - Natolin was welcomed by the State Secretary for European Affairs, Ana Blazheska who thanked for the efforts that were made in this cooperation and expressed her expectations for its enhancement at multiple levels and through various projects.
In his address, the representative of the College - Richard Washington stressed the support of the Deputy Prime Minister and the State Secretary and stressed that this Memorandum of Understanding is crucial in particular for the state administration that works on EU issues, but also for future generations.
Establishing cooperation between the Secretariat for European Affairs and the College of Europe - Natolin is an additional investment in human capital development held by the state administration, as well as new possibilities and opportunities for professional development of educated youth in the country, particularly in the work and functioning of the EU institutions.
