The State Secretary for European Affairs Ana Blazheska had a working meeting with the Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, H.E. Pavel Gyierinski.
At the meeting they discussed the accession process of Macedonia and the implementation of the Urgent Reform Priorities, and took note of the current political and economic situation in the country. Blazheska and Gierynski also discussed the latest developments related to the migrant crisis, especially in this period and the expected movement of migrants in the coming period. Therefore they emphasised the aid that Republic of Macedonia has received in dealing with migrant crisis from donors and from domestic and foreign organisations which gave their contribution on the spot.
State Secretary Blazheska and Ambassador Gierynski discussed the opportunities for cooperation with the organisation "Order of Malta" in the coming period, within the humanitarian activities of the organisation.
"Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta" known as the "Order of Malta" is an organisation of voluntary humanitarian aid and emergency operating under the "Sovereign Military Order of Malta" based in Italy.
