Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of European Affairs, Arber Ademi PhD, today had a meeting with the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Italy in the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Carlo Romeo.
At the meeting, Ademi and Romeo discussed the current situation in the country, the development of the political developments and the EU integration process of Macedonia.
Deputy Prime Minister Ademi stressed that the implementation of democratic and credible elections is crucial to overcome the political crisis in the country, and of course it is necessary to continue the implementation of the Urgent Reform Priorities. Ademi also informed about the importance of further implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement as well as the continued support for the work of the Special Prosecutor's Office.
Both of them expressed content of the cooperation between both countries so far and they committed to deepen it with certain projects.
