Working meeting on the European agenda Ademi-Zhbogar

Deputy Prime Minister for
European Affairs Arbr Ademi PhD today had a regular working meeting with
Ambassador Samuel Zbogar, were they discussed several topics of the European
agenda of the Republic of Macedonia.
At the meeting, Deputy Prime
Minister Ademi briefly referred to the political situation in Macedonia, and
welcomed the efforts of the Union for finding a way out of the crisis. The recent
visits of EU officials are proof of the commitment and support by the European
Union for Macedonia and its Euro-Atlantic orientation. Ademi stressed that it
is important, even in terms of prolonged internal crisis, to continue regular
activities related to the implementation of the Stabilisation and Association
Agreement and the implementation of projects under the IPA program.
Therefore Ademi once again stressed
that the Republic of Macedonia remains on the strategic goal for European Union
membership because it is the desire and interest of all citizens, adding that
the responsibility of political leaders is to work on achievement of these
strategic priorities and to follow the will of the majority of citizens.
The interlocutors agreed that
such regular meetings shall continue, in terms of coordination of reforms
related to our future membership in the European Union.
