TAIEX workshop on developing an IPA staff retention policy

Today at the Secretariat for European Affairs
was held a workshop on developing an IPA staff retention policy.
The workshop was opened by the State Secretary
for European Affairs, Ana Blazheska.
Representatives from the Secretariat for
European Affairs, the Ministry of finance, the IPA audit body, the National
Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility, the Agency for
Financial Support of Agriculture and Rural Development attended the workshop,
and Blazheska introduced Mrs. Dobrinka Krasteva and Mr. Radoslav Milanov, who
took part in the preparation of the IPA staff retention policy concept,
recalling the joint expert missions that were conducted in November and
December last year.
"The main motive for this workshop is to
improve the capacity of the IPA structure for more efficient use of IPA funds,
but also to examine the possibility of developing an IPA staff retention
policy", said Blazheska. She added that the idea is to share the concept
that was put on paper and discuss the way to achieve the implementation of the
concept.
The aim of the workshop was to finalise the
model of the IPA staff retention policy which is applicable in the administrative
units of the EU funds. This model was developed by the Secretariat for
European Affairs in cooperation with the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria, and
beneficiaries and the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Information Society
and Administration.
Any intrusion and misuse of the SEA website is punishable under Article 251 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of North Macedonia.
