Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia for European Affairs, Arbër Ademi PhD, had a meeting with H.E. Mr Ramon Abaroa Carranza, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in the Republic of Macedonia.
At the meeting they discussed the current situation in the EU integration process in the country, the development of political situation in that context, the outlook to the end of the year. Deputy Prime Minister Ademi stressed that despite the current situation, the focus remains on the complete and consistent implementation of the Przhino Agreement and the final Agreement between the four political parties, the implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement and further implementation of the Urgent Reform Priorities.
Deputy Prime Minister Ademi noted that we expect from Spain, as a friend of the region and Macedonia, to continue the support of the EU integration process. He also stressed that the good bilateral relations between the two countries there is space for further improvement in the areas of economic cooperation and trade, but also in other sectors, with an opportunity for closer inter institutional cooperation with joint projects.
