Today at the MK-EU Info Centre, the Secretariat for European Affairs in cooperation with the Embassy of the Netherlands held the event "European Union in Macedonia - Coffee break with the Dutch Embassy.
The event was attended by representatives of youth civil organisations, employees of the Secretariat for European Affairs and media representatives who acted in an informal conversation with the Vice President of the Government in charge of European Affairs Dr. Arbr Ademi and Dutch Ambassador HE
Willem Wouter Plomp, as well as the other participants to share their ideas, suggestions and considerations.
Ademi said that the Netherlands, a country that currently holds presidency over the EU Council, a great friend of the country has supported a number of reforms in the area of rule of law and democratisation, and the opportunities for improving the administration in the context of the European integration process.
"Today's meeting is dedicated to connecting youth because you have a key role in the development of the country and I believe that you can give a significant contribution in many parts of the development of society, especially in terms of European integration. The Secretariat for European Affairs has had a long years of successful and fruitful cooperation with the Dutch Embassy in the country, and has worked through the project lines that unquestionably referred to the young population. " - stressed Ademi.
The project "European Union in the Republic of Macedonia" is part of the EU Agenda 2014 and 2015 of the Secretariat for European Affairs that aims at bringing tradition, culture and values of the member states to the citizens of our country and is implemented in cooperation with the embassies of the European Union member states in Macedonia.
