PROGRESS OF THE TWINNING PROJECT “FURTHER STRENGTHENING OF THE ORGANISATIONAL AND INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITIES FOR THE EU INTEGRATION PROCESS”

The implementation of the EU funded Twinning Project “Further strengthening of the organizational and institutional capacities for the EU integration Process” started in January 2015, and the official project opening ceremony took place on March 4th, 2015 in the premises of the Secretariat for European Affairs. The project is implemented by a consortium of three member state countries: Germany, Poland and Croatia and it is funded by the European Union with the budget of 1.7 million EUR. The main Beneficiary institution of the project is the Secretariat for European Affairs (SEA). Other institutions that will receive assistance (second beneficiaries) are: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Legislation Secretariat and General Secretariat. In the project first quarter couple of activities was held, but some of them are more important to be mention.
